  1. You can put a medium-sized chunk of charcoal inside your smelly refrigerator for instance, and leave it there for a couple of days. You will notice that it can effectively remove the bad smell.

Baking soda is also a good absorbent. Put a generous amount of baking soda in an uncovered container and leave it for several days. Remove the baking soda and replace it with new one and leave it for a couple of days. Continue replacing the baking soda until it has cleared the bad smell.

Just put some lemon or lime peels into an uncovered container and leave them inside the confined area for a couple of days. The citrus smell will naturally replace the bad smell.

If you must leave a refrigerator turned off or unplugged for a period of time, clean it thoroughly first and of course remove all food. Then, leave it propped open a bit. Even clean, a warm, closed fridge is certain to smell bad in time.

  2. I'd say put a box of Arm and Hammer in there!

    That freshens fridges up!

    =]

  3. box of baking soda or clean with a water vinegar solution...spritz with lemon juice

  4. Keep the refrigerator free of odours by placing a tsp. of soda bicarbonate in a corner of the fridge.

For clean storage of radish, remove their tops before putting in the refrigerator.

  5. What i would do first of all is clean it out with some clorox spray. Wipe it clean, Then turn it on and set a few open boxes of baking soda in there the reason for it to be running is so all the nasty air gets filtered!!! That should do the trick!! Goodluck
