Well, I've got a school project that was just recently assigned to me. I've got to simulate an artifact / piece of technology from the civilizations discussed in the chapters I've read. I decided I was going to demonstrate Egyptian writing and record - keeping by making a map of the Egyptian territory. However, I've been trying to do make it as realistic as possible, so I want to make it on papyrus. I've only been able to find papyrus online, and I don't have time to wait for my shipment to come. How should I simulate papyrus? Thanks!

  1. You could put the paper in your oven for a few minutes but not on very high temperature or it will start a fire. The paper should look brownish and ancient after that. Hope that helps. :)
