  2. My favorite exercise is using milk crates. (Outdoors in the grass or soft dirt is best) Place one milk crate on each side of you. Jump up onto one, then jump down, jump up to the other and repeat for 3 sets of 10 reps. Then jump over each crate over and over for 3 sets of 10 reps. If you have the room, do standing long jumps 10 times. I read this exercise by a top male beach vb player who swears by this method.

    Good Luck!

  3. JUMPROPE it improves your verticle by a lot and also gives u quick feet

  6. I would say that some of the best things to do are work on your calves and your quads. I would do simple stuff to start off by jumping from foot to foot. So right to left and doing a slight lunge while doing this. Also there is something kinda expensive that you can buy but they are totally worth it. They are jump shoes you can buy them on www.eastbay.com.

Good luck with all of your efforts.

  7. You can buy something called JumpSoles or something. Do plyometric exercises and other exercises such as squats, calf raises, sprinting, knee tucks, jump rope, and deadlifts. Every exercise you do that involves your legs will usually help your vertical.
