Question:

What should I do when I think my parents have money problems?

I REALLY want to take tennis lessons during the whole winter into the spring, but I'm afraid of the costs. Just playing at the YMCA is pricey without lessons. I overheard my dad go, "I'm going to fill up the new car." Then my mom said, "Can we afford it?"

Now I am not so sure I can ask for these lessons. But then I got confused because my dad bought an ipod today for $270. He said jokingly, "Whatever! Money is just money right?"

What should I do?

  1. You should ask them about it. If they bought an ipod then they either aren't worried about their problems or don't have any. Maybe your mom was just making reference to the outlandish gas prices. If you are old enough you could consider taking a job to pay for your own lessons!

  2. Apparently the mother know more about the truth on the finances so go and ask her and decide if you can get odd jobs and pay for these lessons on your own.

  3. jus ask. maybe filling up a new car costs more than an ipod

  4. why don't u ask them maybe they don't have money problems money is money
