Question:

What should I do when a guest leaves?

Almost every summer, my family receives a distant relative into our home for awhile. It's great getting to know them and spending loads of time with them. My parents and I always take our guest somewhere like New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., etc. Although I'm quiet and really don't speak much to our guest, I like them anyway. When they leave, after about an hour, I miss them already. I get really sad, and SUPER bored 'cuz there seems to be nothing to do....What's wrong with me???

  1. Did you ever get to go to grandma's house for the summer and when you got back home it was such a let down? Same thing. It's always so much fun when others are around because there are things to do. Once they leave it goes back to everyday yeah yeah....You just need to find things to do..things that you were doing before the fun bunch arrived, and wait til next summer for the blast to pass

  2. your normal, see if you can't plan something for yourself later in the day after they leave. Get together with friends and go to the mall or someplace else you enjoy.

  3. Maybe you can keep in contact by writing them letters. Nothing is wrong with you, you just need to find somethings to do with your life so you won't be so board.
