What should I do while I am in Acapulco?

Question

Going on a cruise in December. The stops are Acapulco, Manzanillo and Zihuatanejo. Any recommendations for fun things to do while in port?

get up early and watch the sun rise over the bay. really its one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see in your life. the cliff divers are a must see and the fort is worth a look.  shopping is good

You have to go see the cliff divers, it is a must for Acapulco.  Anything else there is the usual tourist stuff. But it is a great place.  We usually go for a week at a time and have a great time there.

In Acapulco, while it is a tourist trap thing to do, go see the cliff divers.  It is amazing to see these guys dive off the high cliffs.

In Zihuatanejo, just relax and take the water taxi to Playa del Gato.  It is a very nice beach.  Rent a beach chair, drink Pina Coladas from huge pineapples, drink any kind of beer you want, swim in the warm water, and spend about $20 for the whole time including a nice tip.
