  1. If you go to the Grizzly.com website and request a catalog. They have an entire section on guitars building and refinishing. They have super slick methods for giving wood that slick sheen like high dollar guitars. I am a pool table installer in Springfield, MO and that is where I go to get the stuff to fix pool cues for customers. You can even get inlay and Marquetry supplies from them. Grizzly.com is a huge industrial company. One of their stores is right here close to where I live. They even sell books on finishing guitars. Be careful however. If you sand to much, you will throw the weight off. Good luck.

  2. If you insist on trying to do it up yourself or just want to try i'd sand the original varnish off with very fine sand paper then give it a few coates of linseed oil, after no more oil soakes in rub in pure bees wax and buff, this is how cues have been finished for 100+ years. Ash ones anyway:)

  3. I would take it to a Billiards store and see what they say. I would try to get more than one opinion.

  4. if you mess with it yourself you will do more harm than good unless you know what you are doing..  You will throw out the weight proportion, and will end up miss cuing all over the place. they are very accuratley made dont forget

  5. take it to john parris and he will do anything that you require.

  6. If it's just a few scratched I wouldn't mess with it. You're more likely to s***w it up than fix it. If the whole thing is nicked up, look into cue repair places of local custom cuemakers. They can refinish the whole bu tt of the cue for you, although it won't be cheap.

  7. Get a new one or hire a proffesional or close to a proffesional cleaner of pools. Green ones. haha

    lol

  8. treat yourself to new one

  9. I would take it to a professional and say I want it back like new.
