What should I do with my hair? (pictures please!) 10pts garunteed!?

I have long red hair and it's been that way for the last five years. I'm SO bored with it but I don't want to change the color, just the cut! I want to go short, but not too short. Maybe a half inch above my shoulders. I need some ideas for what cut to get and how to style it. Pictures are GREATLY appreciated!

Here are some pictures of my face. I need to make sure the cut won't make my face look huge. I'm also a little overweight and I know a lot of people who look ten times bigger when they cut their hair short, so I want to avoid that!

if i were you, i would get side bangs, then cut the hair so that it is highish in the back, and thwen comes down you face along your jawline, so its longer in the front that the back.
