What should I do with my room?

Question

Hi I am 13 and I have had the sam boring room FOREVER.

Please give me some ideas

In one picture u'll see these fabrics and they are VERY longso i was thinking of just anging them up from the wall behind my bed and just letting them go down so that wall would be bright and pop out or to have them drape from the ceiling like so

WHich idea do you like better

...also what color should I paint my room and do you have any web links to great bed spreads tat would tie it together

please help me because this means A LOT to me

O yea by the way sorry its so messy i just got a puppy so i've spent most of my time taking care of her but my mom will be back today so that is gonna change :-)

first, i love the pandas u have. lol. i'd say leave that white, it'll look odd another color, so u'll have to work that in, and the link for the fabrics didn't work for me.

u have a nicely sized room, so it depends on what kinda feel u want and something u can grow with, cause at 13, ur gonna go through a bunch of changes. i recently turned 16(monday) and trust me, u'll change a lot. so u need to keep that in mind as u pick things out, stuff that can grow with u as u change and can easily be changed and redone. so in that, i suggest not spending a huge amount on things right now. I'd stick to solids and simple designs for decore and bedspreads. what's ur favorite color? that'll halp a lot to know, cuase ur gonna want to incorperate that a bunch, but honestly i'd suggest against having it as the wall color really, cause if u have a bunch of other stuff of it, it's just over kill, which is NOT a good thing.

I'd suggest blue walls, a simple blue, nothing more, nothing les, a true blue. then have purple bedding, light or dark, and lots of stuff of neon colors, mainly orange and green tied in, like paper lamps hanging around and stuff.

then from there, just keep it clean and it'll look nice as u add to it, stuff like shag rugs or lamps or stuff.

try target or walmart for good bedspreads. ikea and wakeupfrankie have good room ideas.

Okay, firstly, i LOVE the way those are draped and would like to have my room like that. just keep in mind if ur house isn't well instulated to a point where there's bugs, it's not the best idea. they can breed up in there easily and that's gross....

Ahh, i also just realized the pic of the fabrics. lol. what color, or all of them, are u gonna use? honestly, i'd say red sheets. u have other red in the room like ur desk chair that will tie it in nicely and not much purple, so it'd look a bit out of place unless u got some other decore. and sure, a zebra comforter would be really cute. ^_^

And i'd go with a true blue, all the walls the same shade of it. it'd look wonderful with the sheets being draped like that. ^_^
