I'm a sophomore and this year, is going to be my first year playing HS football on varsity or JV, I don't know yet ,but we have to pay a fee of $300. Earlier in the year the team gave us raffle tickets to sell to make up the $300, but I managed to sell half of them leaving me with 150. I have no idea where to get 150 from, I asked my mom, and she said that shes not paying a dime, and doesn't care if I get cut. If I give half of the money I have to pay, will I get cut? What should I do?

  1. Depending on whether its shot notice or not, get a job!

If that fails, get a loan from a bank.

You could do various odd jobs like mowing jards, weed whacking ect.

  2. Manual labor.  Wash some neighbor's car's or cut lawns or something like that.  You'll be amazed what you can come up with if you really want something.

  3. Talk to the coach.  I'm sure you are not the only player who is having a hard time with the money. If the coach knows you're having some difficulty but that you have 1/2 of the fees, he can probably help you in either getting the rest of working something out.

In the meantime, see what odd jobs you can do around your neighborhood to earn some money. Ask neighbors if they have chores you can do.

You don't mention dad. Is he around and can you ask for his help financially?  Grandparents, aunts/uncles????

  4. ask a few business people to sponser you, realtors love seeing their names on things. maybe a sign on your car. or on your jersy

be creative. money is so easy to make. you don't even need an education to make it

  5. sell some candy, around the neighborhood. Mow lawns wash cars. Try selling some stuff on ebay. You will be surprised at how well you do. Set up a kissing booth. You know your area better than anyone, so get with the beat. If you can ask for a loaner, maybe a family member or friend can help. Ebay is very profitable.

  6. easy ways to make extra money ; cut lawns, walk dogs, get old people there grocerys, sell candy, ask family memebers for small donations like 10 to 20 bucks and see what happens dont give up show ur coach that ur not a quitter just keep ur head up cas this is nothing compared to the h**l ur gonna have to endure during h**l week and hs football is a hard sport and is very competetive so good luck and get plenty of rest and water

  7. could u ask them for more time????? ummmmm ask ur dad........ if u kno..... ur close wit him nd everything..........or watever...... umm.... take out a loan???? o wait!!! ur old enough to get a job right?? or u could like walk dogs for ur nieghborhood

  8. Ask your church or some friends families to see if they can help you raise the money. :) It's Varsity (or JV) That's a BIG DEAL!
