What should I do?Letter phone call?

A friend just got me a job and I've been working there about a month now. I was sent on my own after one week, normally they train someone 4 months before they go alone. I lost my license for 30 days after a month of working their, since I couldn't drive they said I would be let go for 30 days then could come back when I got my license back. Well got my license back and went back to work they said they didn't think I was right for the job. I wasn't picking it up fast enough. Does this make sense I pretty sure a team lead hates me thats why I wasn't allowed back.
