I am working independently as a buisnessman. Like every buisness person I have rivals. There is this guy who has bribed few policemen for spoiling my buisness and they are repeatedly troubling me through one way or another. I am fed up cause they have resorted to unethical means and are ready to do anything because they are being paid for that...how should I get rid of these people. What should I do? Plz suggest me some legal actions I can take.

  1. If the problem is with a municiple PD contact the State Police or vice versa.  You can always call the District Attorneys office also.

  2. Tell them:  "Hey why are you bothering my business and I'm just trying to put food on the table?  I don't take donuts out of your mouth every time I see you at the donut shop."

Seriously I would talk to a lawyer about a harassment suit.  If you have proof they'll probably settle out of court.  You make a few years salary at the settlement and they'll probably stay very far away from you.  Either that or bust your for the big crimes you are getting away with.  Only you know whether it's worth it or not.

  3. I would contact the internal affairs department. If you feel the department its self is not on the up and up, contact the DA's office and probably the F.B.I. They are in charge of civil rights and investigating cops.......

  4. i think u should file a case against those ppl who are spoiling ur business.

  5. Uhh.. If you've got crooked cops bothering you, I don't know what you can do. I don't know of a whole lot that you can do to the law enforcement in your area that would be a good idea. They can pretty much make your life miserable if you play the game wrong.. Maybe pay them more? (I know it's awful to suggest that, but if your adversary wants to play hardball, play hardball back.

  6. ONLY WAY IF HE HAS BRIBED ONE THEN U SHOULD BRIBE 2,

  7. first write a letter narreting complete details with name of all involved to Director General of Police of your state, if the same will fails file a complaint before concern court.

  8. That would be a violation of your civil rights.  I would suggest either going to a statewide law enforcement agency or a federal one.  The local police department isn't going to help you if their officers take bribest and commit illegal activities.
