  1. An upright piano is really just a series of rectangles.  Perhaps painting will free you up more than drawing.  Use a 1/2" and 1 inch brush instead of a tiny one that is just like a pencil point. Also, it can be an impression (or abstract) of a piano and not a perfect representation of one.  How about a close up view of just part of the piano, and not the whole thing?  You could draw an image of her favorite song or her favorite flowers or pet.  Oh, how about a self portrait, she'd love that.  My Grandma always loved my drawings and saved them for decades.  She has passed on and we miss her.

sorry thats the best i could find :(

  3. Draw a big smiley face, with piano keys for teeth, or happy keys dancing around, like one of those campy illustrations in my old music books :)

  4. U can draw a pic of ur grandmother playing the piano in front of a window that has a thin curtain blowing behind her :)

Something kind of like this pic only w/ ur grandmother sitting in the chair playing the piano.
