  1. Foods that are complexed carbohydrates should be consumed the night before. Examples of such food are; potatoes, rice and pasta. Two to three hours before your run you should consume something like toast or oatmeal.


  2. nothing heavy. just light food like bread and make sure you give it some time to digest.

    also, you should carbo load a week before. pasta is the best choice.
