  1. cup of milk without fat

    it's my favorite breakfast

  2. Special K and Berries

Pepperidge Farm thin toast and margarine with a bit of jelly

    turkey Bacon and egg beaters

    fruit

  3. My healthy non fat breakfast include this most mornings: egg white omelet with spinach or broccoli, onions, hot pepper ( if you can handle it) green peppers, tomatoes and non fat cheese. Make enough for 3 days worth.

Non fat plain yogurt mixed with blueberries and strawberries.

Watch how full of energy you are and the weight will come off if you are careful for your other meals.

  4. Be sure that your breakfast includes some protein.  I have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches a lot of mornings - the protein and the fat in the peanut butter help me not get hungry before lunch as your body needs more time to digest protein and fat than it does carbohydrates like the bread and jelly.

Hummus and a high-fiber, low-fat crisp bread (Wasa is a favorite brand in our house) also makes a filling and different breakfast.

A smoothie that has a milk base - again, the protein is the important factor in using milk instead of water or juice as the base.

Another favorite breakfast calls for the low-fat breakfast sausage links (or turkey sausage or even the vegetable "sausage links").  Slice the links at an angle and put them in the skillet.  Keep stirring.  When they're almost through cooking, take an apple that you have sliced into thin slices or diced into small cubes, and stir them into the sausage.  When the apple gets hot all the way through, you can add a teaspoon of maple syrup (or not - it's up to you).  I serve this in pita pockets.  It's quite yummy.  You can control the amount of fat by being careful in the sausage you use.

I also like to use Egg-beaters to make an egg sandwich.  I pour the desired amount into a small, hot skillet, and shake the pan so that the Egg-beaters settle and cook.  Usually I'll get a spatula and flip it once.  Served on the 40-calorie whole wheat toast with a slice of 2% cheddar cheese, and some fresh fruit, and now you actually have a meal.

I hope some of these ideas strike your fancy.  I'm not a breakfast person, and finding foods that I can enjoy first thing in the morning has been a life-long struggle.

  5. Cheerios with a banana or apple

  6. Some good breakfast foods are...

    Cereals:

    Bran flakes

    fruit and fibre

    weetabix

    shredded wheat

muesli (with no added salt or sugar)

    porridge

You could also try some wholemeal toast, fat-free/low-fat yogurt, and fruit salad! :)

  7. eggs ,milk,cereal and fruit

  8. cereal and fruit

  9. Oatmeal-old fashioned, not the kind that come in the packets

    bananas

    strawberries

    egg whites

    apples

Oatmeal is really good for weight loss and is low fat.

Bananas are good fruits for weight loss.

Egg whites are low in calories and fat, and they are a good source of protein.

And you already know what apples are good...

  10. shredded wheat

  11. A smoothie is great - just throw in chunks of frozen fruits, whatever you like, I add a fresh banana and some orange juice - filling, and absolutely no fat.
