What should I evolve my gloom into so it can help me beat the champion on pokemon ruby?

i already have a veliplume at lv. 35 but i want to teavh it toxic and sludge bomb so i was wondering if it would be better to evevolvenother gloom into it's other Pokemon hat can learn solar beam and petal dance. which would be better on my way to beat the elite four and champion.

Vileplume has higher special attack than Blossom but Blossom has slightly higher special defence.

Vileplume later on learns solarbeam itself whereas Blossom has to learn it from a TM.

Vileplume is both grass and poison so it has additional weaknesses.

I went with Blossom because it looks better.
