i have an interview on monday.. (yay!) but umm, i need to bring my birth certificate but the mcdonalds website says that if neither of my parents were born in australia, i need one parent's aus citizenship certificate or permanent residency visa. and ummm, my dad applied for proof of permanent residency today, but i won't be able to get it until 10 days. what will mcdonalds do about it? will they even notice that neither of them were born here? will they say i can't work til i have it? also, what questions should i expect? andddd i'm 14 years old, what are my chances of getting the job? thanks in advance.

  1. yes, they notice the tinest of things

sorry but ur chances are about 15/100

  2. id say your chances of getting it are about 99%

    i worked there when i was 14

i brought my visa, birth certificate, parents consent, etc etc...

i didnt need it, and neither will you

  3. You'll face probably be littered in zits from all that grease!

  4. Grease

  5. I'm from the UK and you would not allowed to work unless you was 16 or above...so i don't know how you have an interview when your only 14! But any way, If you apear to meet their standards they should over look that issue and simply say bring it when it comes.

Also MacDonald's are always desperate for staff so if you look tidy, are hard working then you should be fine. Don't worry and good luck!
