There's a job fair at a Starbucks near my house, so I'm going to go in and check it out. What should I expect?

  1. A Job.

  2. expect the same as if you were going to an interview.

    bring your resume

    dress professionally

prepare for an interview or atleast to be asked questions.

people will talk to you so dont expect to just take a look and leave, you'll be interacting.

  3. First of all expect many other people like yourself looking for a job. Some probably have much more experience than you. Also, print out 10-15 or more copies of your resume, there might be many different companies. Dress like a professional and be confident. Don't be discouraged if things don't turn out as you wanted. Good luck and don't forget to be friendly and :)

  4. Most "job fairs" have many employers all at the same location looking to talk to potential employees. This is a great thing as it saves you gas, time, and money and you can network too! Since this is just one business holding a job fair--they are in real need of employees. That's good-right? They are looking for someone who wants to go to work right away, some is who friendly, clean, presentable and  can make change. And yes-someone with a good attitude! This is a very low key and fairly easy way to meet a potential employer and get right in the door. *Please go prepared-take all your info--ID or Drivers Lic. previous employers and their info and your refs. Remember-smile!!
