I'm taking a volleyball "gym" class at the community college I attend.I havent played volleyball in 3 years. I used to be really good but now I'm nervous to go to this class. In the course description it says practice and development of volleyball skills and it says there will be team play. what do u think I should expect and do u think it'll be serious or more like gym volleyball? Plus, do u think I should bring kneepads?\

  1. I think it iwll be more like gym class, a lot of beginners.  You can bring kneepads if you want to show off!

You will also have some class time where you are learning rules and positions, etc.

It will be really easy and fun!

  2. It really depends on the college. More than likely there will be people there with all different types of Volleyball backgrounds. I wouldnt worry too much about it. The good thing about community colleges, is that in most cases, the professors are a lot more willing to work WITH you. Just let them know of your concern, and I'm sure everything will be great for you.

Good luck, and don't forget to have fun!

EDIT: And as far as the kneepads, may as well... better to be over-prepared!
