Is it more about memorization or comprehension? What kinds of essay/free-response questions do they ask on the AP exam?

  1. Well, my teacher was always talking about how in psychology we have to be "masters of content." But, it's also memorization. So, I recommend reading from the textbook. On the AP exam, of course, free response questions vary. You might be asked to provide examples that support an experiment that has been done in psychology. Or, you might be instructed to describe the works of psychologist(s).

The AP exam is actually not that hard. Most people I know pass with a 4 or 5. I scored a 4.

    Good luck with AP Psych!

  2. my friend told me there is lots of memorization. the difference between AP and regular psych, is that there are essays to write.

  3. Very easy.. although I took 7 ap exams that year so I only got a 4 on psych. It's mostly memorization, but its the fun kind, and they usually ask questions involving diagnosis and explanation of brain processes.

  4. at our school (college prep) its very easy
