What should I expect getting wisdom teeth pulled?

How bad does it hurt? How bad does the pain last? What should I expect? I have really bad anxiety and can go into panic mode quickly which I really don't want to happen when I go to get them pulled. Also what could happen if I decide not to get them pulled? Does it do much harm?

It hurts, but the pain pills will help, as well the anesthesia and novacaine (if they use it). I panicked when I got there, but it ended up being quite easy. There's no need to worry; you'll get knocked out for the surgery and it doesn't take too long to get over it. The pain will be gone within a couple days. If you don't get them pulled, they could do some nerve damage. If you have a good surgeon, you'll have nothing to worry about. being loony for a day or so lol its not that bad they morph u up a lot so it lessens the pain alot and if u dont get them pulled it will s***w up your teeth! and that sucks if u had braces for 6 yrs like i did and braces kinda suck...    dont forget to floss and brush above your teeth!!

Got all four of mine removed and it wasn't so bad. Some people are completely put to sleep but, I was just numbed so I saw everything. Afterwards is when you feel the side effects but, that's where Vicodin comes into play:0) Plus, you're gonna look like you stuffed marshmallows in your mouth. I remember having to go to work right after removing them, so embarrassing I tell you. Just relax....your gums will be bleeding a lot aftewards but, you can just gargle some water with salt in it and it should stop bleeding within a few days. The pain goes away within a week I'd say...plus you can eat ice cream to help with the swelling and pain :0) Good Luck!

it hurts really bad and it lasted me about 2 weeks and if you dont' get rid of them you'll get really cavities and they will rotten the rest of your teeth.
