What should I expect using 0.04% Retin-A-Mirco?

I am 23 old year female with mild to moderate acne. I have battled with it for years:( My dermatologist has prescribed me Retin-A-Mirco (the grey kind) at the lowest dosage 0.04%. I've been using it for 5 evenings now. Nothing seems to be happening, not even redness/blushing like my doctor said. My skin seems oily than normal, but that's it. Can someone tell me what I should expect? THANK YOU!
