What should I expect when I get my hair thinned?

I've never done it before and I'm considering getting it done. How do they do it and stuff?

I usually have SUPER thick hair. But now. i get my hair thinned every time i get it cut. And its amazing :D. They use thinning shears. It pretty much..Cuts every other hair. So that way..It stays the same length and doesnt alter the hair cut. It makes it lay way more flat and feel alot lighter than usual. It can make a HUGE difference. Be sure to tell your stylist how thin you want it...

Your hair will be a lot thinner, and much weaker. You wont be able to curl, straighten, blowdry it as much because it will break off easier.
