  1. If he'll eat canned food it's a good transition tool...but don't stay on soft food forever.

You just need to COMPLETELY stop offering him anything besides his dog food.

He'll eat it once he realizes he's not going to get anything else.

  2. A raw diet.

Dogs are supposed to have meat, bones, and organs, preferably fresh, wholesome, and unprocessed. This is why many feed a homemade raw diet.

A raw diet is typically cheaper than kibble worth buying.

For a dog fed raw, it is typically 2 to 3 percent of the dogs ideal body weight. If the dog is a pup(under 18 months for most dogs) it can be around 10% of the dogs body weight. Most raw feeders start at one percentage and adjust it as needed.

  3. Are you serious? Don't feed him stuff thats not meant for him. After a while, he will be hungry enough for dog food if you stop feeding him 'people food'.

  4. Dont give your dog people food! He will eat when he is hungry! The reason why he wont eat his dog food is because he knows that you will give him people food. Sometimes instead of giving my dog just dried food, I will cook him some rice with mince and vegies, he loves it and it is good for him. You can also mix a bit of gravy in with the dried food. Dry food is better then canned.

  5. try canned food
