Next door our friend had a baby boy. This weekend my mom and i are invited to his 1st birthday party. He doesnt really need anything major. Like he has enouph clothes, bibs, shoes.. and stuff. So i wanted to get him something fun and that can be used outside. He has a tri-cycle but it is too big for him. I can't think of anything good. He loves going outiside and it out there most of the time. Though the weather will be turning cold soon where i live. So maybe an outdoor/indoor toy would be best.

  1. Go to  Fisher-Price.com , select age and there u go !!!

I think that Little Peole@ train or somethink would be very nice...

  2. If they make those bubble mowers where you live, i would purchase him one of them. They are fun and I have a 20 month old and he loved playing with his. If you can't find one of them, get him a Walk and Ride toy that teaches a child to walk and then converts to a little riding toy. They aren't expensive and cost around $20. My son has one of them also. I wouldn't get the child a big gift just for the fact that he is one year old and won't remember his first birthday. Good Luck!

  3. For a 1 year old, I would get some baby legos

These things are instrumental in the mental development of young toddlers.

for his 2nd birthday, I would get a Thomas the train set from e-bay.

For his 3rd birthday, I would get some special track pieces from

    http://woodentoys.meskotech.com for advanced track layouts.

Have fun with all of this.

  4. Get him a thing that is a stuffed animal

  5. Buy a kiddie pool

  6. Maybe something like a pushable lawn mower for babies his age. Kids that age love to help mommy clean too so maybe a play vacuum cleaner would be fun, one that makes noise. Really anything he can push around would be great.

  18. Buy your 1 year old premium bonds and when he reaches 18 allow him to cash them in for big winnings

  19. a playschool basketball hoop

  20. Go to ToysRus and pick the coolest toy they have in his age group.

  21. My daughter LOVED her Peek-a-Blocks (Fisher Price - $15 - 35) and her corn popper (Fisher Price $10 - 15). Both toys can be used inside and out, not too spendy, and entertain the wee ones for hours. Personally I prefer the blocks, as they can be used for much longer. My daughter got them for her first Christmas, and she still plays with them now, 3 years later. They've held up really well, too.

  22. Get him a little tykes shopping cart that he could push around and put stuff in.  One year olds LOVE those. You could also include some fake food.

  23. Get him a bubble blower.  One that blows the bubbles for him he will love it.

  24. walmart carries a bubble blower for the bath tub.  they are about $10

go to walmart.com and search for summer infant bubble maker

  25. They have these cute toy lawnmowers, and shovel sets with buckets. Also any little boy loves a truck that he can push around, you could get him a dump truck and then a shovel set and he could fill up the truck with dirt and drive it around. I dont have any boys myself but I have alot of boys in my family (5 brothers, 3 nephews, etc.) Just look through the store and see what catches your eye. Good luck.
