What should I get my Mom for her birthday? ?

This is her 40th birthday, so this year is going to be really special. I want to get her something really nice other than what I normally get her (perfume or gift card). Do you have any ideas? i already know she wants me to take her to get her nails/eyebrows done but what else? I have about $65 but I am sure I can get some more.

***And her party is 2 days before her actual birthday. Should I give her the gifts on the party day or on her actual birthday?

I'd get her nails/eyebrows done, and then MAKE her something very very special.  Maybe a whole jewelry set in her favorite colors, and/or a personalized photo album of you guys, stuff like that can say more than money ever will, and it also lasts forever and manufactured specifically for her (by you).

Moms can be very sentimental and something like that gives them the perfect excuse to indulge in their sentimental happiness :)

As for when to give it to her you should wait until her actual birthday, that way she gets to do something special then too.
