What should I give as a gift?

I need to give my my best friend who is a girl a gift. I want the gift to last and is meaningful. The gift should be around 20 dollars.

- A betta fish and a tank + startup supplies

You don't need a fancy filter or anything like that. All she has to do is change the water once a week and feed the little guy once a day. They can live for up to 3 yrs.

Pet stores that sell the betta fish will have little betta startup tanks that come with a supply of food, colored rocks, and water purification liquid. Pick a lively fish with flowing non-shriveled fins. All for $20 or less!

WHAT IS YOUR FRIEND'S AGE? UNLESS SHE IS A CHILD I WOULD SUGGEST A JOURNAL, THERE ARE SOME BEAUTIFUL ONES OUT THERE. A NICE LEATHER ONE WOULD BE NICE AND APPROPRIATE. IT WOULD  BE A GREAT KEEPSAKE.
