What should I give as favors for my wedding?

Its outdoor/garden ceremony and reception is in a cape cod captains mansion...in august.

My SIL has coasters with their engagment pic of them. My wedding is in November and we are making chocolate covered pretzels in little favor boxes with pretty ribbon tied on them.

We are getting married this Saturday and our favors are personalized M&Ms in little tins.  The M&M's you can pick your own colors and also have the candy say what you want, such as your two names or the date or anything you want!  We are putting them in little tins that came with stickers for the tops of them that you can personalize also.  We created a monogram of our first two initials and our last initial and have printed it out for the stickers to go on top of the tins.  Very personal and not that expensive.

i went to one wedding of fine Beer drinkers (you know the good stuff, Guiness, Sam Adams, Sam Smith etc.).

They gave out Pint glasses with their name and date of wedding on the glasses.

You could do that with a Lobster or what ever.

i did candles in little cheap $ .50, glass candle holders. on the out side i wrote our names and the date with a glass pen and everyone loved em. u can get candles and glass paint in any color to match the colors you chose for your wedding! just an idea, but good luck and congrats!

How about customized personal cards and a beautiful mirrored card holder? I just got these for myself - and then for my daughter going away to school - and we love them.

Just the persons's name, cell number and email on a custom card - you could do these for under $25 each and they would arrive within the week.

I would have loved to receive something this personal and useful, and you could give the job of ordering them to your maid of honor or whoever else to is taking care of the details.

I made pint glasses that said our names and the date we got married.  They were a big hit.

you could create a CD of songs that will remind your guests of the day...and location ect....super cheap, less than a dollar per CD!

and....make the insert your engagement shot! :)
