  1. Long as you visit Munich (which I agree with), take a sidetrip to visit Dachau, one of the largest n**i concentration camps that's been preserved.  It's incredibly moving.  I'd also recommend a day trip on a boat up the Rhine River going north too... great scenery and very relaxing too... and easy to hook up with a train wherever you stop to get on to your  next destination.

  2. Everything! It's Amazing

  3. If you are going to Germany then there are lots of places you can see in Germany. If you want to know information in details then you can visit the site www.stayresgermany.com, where you can get all information of places & Hotels of Germany. I hope it willbe helpfull for you.

  4. My DAD!!!

Actually Dachau was destroyed by the Americans after WWII and then re-constructed!!!

    It's not the original!!!

I grew up 20 minutes from there!!!

  5. Well, you're going to see two of the most interesting cities already: Berlin, the German capital, and Munich, the capital of the federal state of Bavaria.

Berlin is big enough and has lots of places to visit, you won't feel the need to ever leave the city. Buy a day or week pass for their public transport system; it's excellent and will get you everywhere.

Down south in Bavaria, you might want to take a trip out of Munich and see one of the famous Bavarian castles, like Neuschwanstein. Don't miss it; it's worth seeing.

It would be too much to list all the places of interest, so I'll recommend two websites:

    For Berlin, see

    http://www.visitberlin.de/index.en.php

    and for Munich, see

    http://www.muenchen.de/Tourismus/6942/in...

And here's some information about Neuschwanstein Castle (ugly website, but pretty pictures):
