My dads girlfriend has a 6 year old daughter. Her dad lives in CA so I want to help her do something for her mom for mothers day. My dad is going to take his girlfriend to dinner this week and I am going to babysit. I need something easy and that his girlfriend will like. Not expensive to do either. Her daughter will get bored easily so something that'll hold her interest. Thank you so much!

  1. a necklace beads and elastic about $2-3 and acard constuction paper $2 I am sure she already has crayons

  2. Beads, cards, cookies.

  3. Get a long rectangular piece of paper and fold it (accordian style) 5 or 6 times.  At the top in one of the folded sections have her put her handprint (use paint).  This will become a "flower".  From the handprint all the way down to the bottom of the paper draw a stem.  You now have a flower.  Right the saying "my love for you grows and grows and grows.  Happy mothers day".

  4. A mother would love anything but here are ideas

    - A card

    - Cut out a cardboard picture frame, and decorate then put a picture on it

    - bead neckalace/bracelet

    - make paper/real flowers put in vase

  5. With your assistance maybe:

    Cookies

    Cake

    Bracelet

    Earrings

    Necklace

    Pillow

    Stuffed animal

  6. Well anything home made a mother will love, heres some ideas for crafts you can do,

Cut a doily into a heart (or buy it like that) and make it into a flower (add cut stem and leaves) put child's handprint on top of doily. Glue all onto bright colored paper.

Or get some sheer netting put potpourri in it and tie a ribbon around it.

You could even make a magnet with the childs picture on it, get some magnets and glue the childs picture on there & decorate it with some buttons, lace, anything just be creative! Or maybe even get a flower vase & some paint and have the girl paint on the flower vase & maybe throw some flowers in it from outside.

  7. Hmm... I helped my little nephew make a cookie jar with hand prints on it for my sister. I bought a clear cookie jar and some finger paint and he was good to go! Maybe just have her paint some designs or something?

  8. Have her make a cute card with lots of little decorations and stickers to keep her interest. Make sure you let her put them where she wants and let her write it if she wants to. Try to give her something sparkely to work with, that usually holds the interest of little kids.
