Question:

What should I have for dinner tonight at an Italian Restaurant?

A group of us are going to this fabulous italian restaurant tonight. I normally get their eggplant parm which is loaded with cheese but tonight, I want to keep it as healthy as possible. I'm torn between the linguine with clams, mussels, shrimp in a red sauce OR the penne with salmon and asparagus in red sauce. Assuming both sauces are the same, portions are the same and that they do not have whole wheat pasta (but I'm going to ask), which do you think is healthier?

  1. Calarmari or stuffed mushrooms for appetizer and get chicken alfredo or lasagna!

  2. The salmon would probably be the most healthy but I can never resist veal at a good Italian restaurant.

  3. I would go with the Salmon (medium rare) with the sauce on the side.

If you use it for dipping, you'll most likely use less than if it was on the plate.
