i have powder, concealer, zit cream, eyeshadow [incase i come across a cute boy], carmex, lip gloss, oil blotting sheets, those tooth brush pads that you put on your fingers, tic tacs, eyeliner, and mascara. thats it.

Well I have Mascara, compact powder foundaiton, lig gloss, and eyeshadow...do you mean like in your purse or in the bag where you keep all your makeup up like in the bathroom? becuse the above is purse..just for small touchups i can do in the bathroom at school, but in my bathroom i have a ton of different eyeshadow, eyelash curlers, liquid foundation, concealer, pressed powder foundation, blush, lip gloss, lip stain, primer, multiple mascara's and all that good stuff. Somewhere I have a huge make-up bag that's full of all the make-up in the world. But when I moved recently, I took my bare essentials and put them in a smaller make-up bag. The smaller bag contains:

- concealer

- liquid foundation

- powder

If you have lovely skin, stick with a powder foundation or just powder; I have a lot of blemishes going on, which is why I feel the need to have so much flesh-coloured junk. You may also want to add a blusher; I'm no good with it myself, which is why I don't have it.

- dark brown mascara

- black eyeshadow

- brown eyeshadow

- array of brushes

I have blue eyes, so brown eyeshadow is the best natural colour for me to make them stand out. I can't apply eyeliner for the life of me, but with the aid of a damp eyeliner brush and the black eyeshadow, I can fake it really well. I also need to buy an eyebrow pencil.

Lipstain is brilliant fun; it's basically a marker pen for your lips. Love it! Liplocker is an essential for me. I'm always eating make-up off my face, so anything that helps lipstick stay on is a bonus. I don't always wear the gloss; I either use it on its own for a bare minimum look, or over a lipstick for a polished look. But generally, I'm more likely to use lipstick and no gloss. XD Although honestly, I don't think I really neeeeed three different lip colours, considering this is supposed to be my small bag for essentials.

No, really, that is my smaller bag. O_O My array of brushes includes a brush for powder, an eyebrow/eyelash comb, my eyeliner brush, and a couple of teeny wee ones. I also rarely leave home without a pocket mirror and my good eyebrow tweezers. If you tweeze your eyebrows, it is TOTALLY worth spending a bit extra to get a really good pair of tweezers.

And if I go out of an evening and only have bag space for a handful of items, I take the powder, eyeshadow, lipstick, and lipgloss for emergency reapplication.

the makeup bag i bring to school has my foundation, nars- the multiple(blush, eyeshadow, and lip stick all in one), eyeliner, and mascara, and my kabuki brush, also a sponge, and then deodorant, hair ties, clips, and gum.

I think every girl who likes make-up should have at least Cover-up, eyeshadow, blush and mascara. I would deffinately suggest the CoverGirl Lasht Blast. It makes your eyes look full and doesn't clump! You don't need to go out and buy those really expensive ones at the salon, Longs Drugs has some really cheap make-up for all ages. Good Luck! :)

i have eyeliner, eyeshadow, light foundation, and a small cover upish type thing just in case. I don't need one but if you have straight eyelashes you might want to curl them with an eyelash curler. OH yea and chapstick or w/e you use for your lips.
