In short, I plan to create some kind of scrap book for my boyfriend to mark our year aniversary together!

I want to include loads of photos, which I have, just not too sure on design ideas, what kind of thing to include, images, writing etc

If any one knows of a fantastic scrap booking website I will also be eternally grateful!

Thank you guys and girls x*x

  1. Aw bless!  It'll be hard when you've only been together a year... you'll need bits and bobs that remind you of something, like if he gave you a flower once you can press that and add it to your scrap book, or a lock of hair - cute little bits like that.

Its a great idea, but if you're anything like me and my boyfriend we've been together three years and I don't think we could fill a whole scrap book!  Maybe a page for each year would be good - but that could scare him away!

  2. Another thing you should do its buy some of those scissors that cut in different ways, and those thingys that you use to cut figures like flowers and animals from paper and foam. You can also go to a dollar store where they sell some nice scrapbooking stickers, if you see any that you like it may hit you with a theme Idea... just be very creative, it migth help you to pick like certan colors for the lay out just to make everything look like part of the same thing, hope i helped, imagination its the best tool, with that any scrap paper sticker or anything can be helpful...

  3. ok im telling you this website is addictive so beware !!

go to yahoo and type in scrapbook

it will come up with a list

    about 4th or 5th down

    scrapbook.com

this is the best you will ever see

you dont have to join but i suggest you do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. you can also use scraps (hence the title) of matirials that remind you of him, like old movie stubs, clip outs from catalogs, concert tickets - choose themes that illustrate things you've done together/enjoyed together

  5. You can borrow books on scrapbooking, also known as memory albums, from your local library. Look at the scrapbooking videos on www.docraft.com or on create & craft on Sky or the internet. Find a craft shop stocking scrapbooking products. The staff will be able to show you some examples and give you ideas. Join a scrapbooking course or go to a Creative Memories party.

Enter scrapbooking in the search for questions box here on Yahoo answers. There are loads of answers to questions similar to yours.

Print the lyrics of the song you both listen to most often with a nice border. Use a font like Schwarzwald that looks like calligraphy.

Crumple a luggage tag, open it up and wipe a light brown ink pad over it. The ink will collect in the creases and look nice. Write what thoughts came in to your mind when you first saw him.

  6. Oh my.  I would love a book of memories from my loved one.  Great Idea!!!  I would put old receipts if you have them from restaurants, photos (of course), Maybe grab something he doodled on the he wouldn't expect to see again.  Anything you have that signifies your relationship.  Simple things like gums wrappers and stuff that could have sentimental value for you and him...

  7. if you'd like::

well you can base the whole book on months of the year. like if someone's birthday is in january, you can decorate it with birthday pictures. in february you can do like valentines day. in october, if you have a picture of yourselves on halloween put that. every month should have like a holiday or like a new season theme. get it? if you're confused just email me.
