  1. The Marines as a general rule are better mindless automatons. What I mean is if you want someone to blindly do what they are told without fail and to the last man send the Marines. They are generally in better shape and are very brained washed.

The Airborne Division is one of the two premier Units in the Army they are very tough also but are more famed for their ability to adapt and out of the box thinking. If you want to kill the enemy and don't care how it gets done and want to take the least amount of casualties send the Army.

There is much less BS in the Army but there is a lot in both services. If you want to stay for a carrier there are many more chances for advancement and to become an officer in the Army.

If you want to just be a hardcore killer in the least amount of time and get out go Marines.

  2. join the marines so you can be a pawn for the new world order. I'll show up at your funeral, no wait, I won't because I couldn't bear to see your whole family crying and saying what a good little american soldier you were, dying for our freedoms. I just couldn't put myself into the position of telling your family that you weren't really fighting for anyone's freedom, just for a bunch of ultra rich b******s.

  3. I want to be an Airborne Ranger

Livin' a life of s*x and danger

    Caller: I said RANGER!

    Runners: DANGER!

    Caller: DANGER!

    Runners: RANGER!

Well C-130 rolling down the strip

Takin' off just like a rocket ship

Grab your weapon and grab your pack

clip the static line and it's out the back

Now if my chute don't open wide

I've got a second one by my side

If my secondary don't open true

Well look out ground 'cause I'm coming through

If I die in a combat zone

you can box me up and send me home

pin my metals upon my chest

And tell my momma I did my best

My son used to sing this song, he went to boot camp here and wanted to be an airborne ranger.  He has a friend that joined the Marines too, but I think I would choose an Airborne Ranger.

  4. Don't join either!!! The military is full of BS.

cramtime: No sweetie, you're dying for your nationalism and the republican agenda. No war being fought today is benefiting the American people. Open your eyes.
