  1. 1-you make good money

2- you will work for Satan

My friend is a Pharmacist and says the Pharm companies have been trying to recruit her. She says you  will be pressured to sell drugs that have not been tested properly, will lie to DR's and many will make people more sick. You will have to stand out side of offices, many times in line with other reps from other companies and "wait you turn".

My friend said they have offered her a lot of money to sell her soul.

    Think about it.

  2. Yeah, Jeanmarie is an idiot as far as I'm concerned.

It's a GREAT job from every aspect: base salary, bonus potential, insurance, vacation, award trips - you name it and it's in there.

Try it out.  If it doesn't work for you, quit and do something else.

Would recommend you read "Knock 'em Dead" by Yates or Yeates.  Perfect interview tool.

Ask your doctor to recommend a rep with whom you could spend 4-5 hours some day.  This will open your eyes to what the industry is really like.

  3. Jeanmarie, sounds like you are very misguided about the profession.  Your Pharmacist friend is, perhaps, the Liar.
