What should I know about bunnies before I adopt one?

Hello i am about to get my first bunny and im so excited so i was wondering what i should know before I adopt one. I already bought him/her (don't know what gender yet any suggestions?) a 6ft by 3ft pen. Thanks for the help!

-Give it cardboard to chew on so that it's teeth don't grow long (shoeboxes or something like that)

-Be ready for it to go into heat (its a pain in the butt)

-Keep it's cage clean so it doesn't stink and let it out of the cage a lot to play with it and let it hop around

-Give it carrots lol

buunies are hard work to look after

you need to clean them out every week in winter/and every 2 days in summer (because of the flys)

you need to feed them in morning and night and give them water

they need to go out on th grass everyday

you should bath it every 4 weeks in summer (because of flys) and not vey often in winter

if there are flys in your rabbits hutch you should kill all of them a.s.a.p or the flys will put eggs in your rabbits bum and will kill it

if you feed your rabbit too much greens it will give your rabbit diahrear

if your rabbit does get diahrear you need to give them salt sugar and water(1 litre of water,1 teaspoon of salt,8 teaspoons of sugar ) for 1 week until the diahrear goes and then a week after aswell otherwise it will come back

they pee and poo a lot....they should NEVER be taken a bath or they will die so dont let it in the rain. NEVER pull it by its ears even though a lot of paople say its not harmless, it is. dont scream near its ears either.

Rabbits make good pets.

Make sure to let them out and runa round.

They use the bathroom a lot, I'd potty train your rabbit so it goes i one place, ake sure to clean the litter box at least a few times a week.

Get them toys to chew on so their teeth wont' over grow.

Let your rabbit run around.
