What should I look for in a high school?

I'm beginnig to start high school in the fall of 2009 and I have to choose between St. Mary's in Berkeley and Marin Academy in Marin(California). What should I look for in a high school. you know like academics. The pros and cons

First, look at their mission statements if they're not public schools. Is their philosophy like yours? Is what you want in a school what they offer? Do they have the clubs and sports that you're interested in? Do they offer AP and advanced-level classes? Compare the costs, the facilities, the sizes, the class sizes, the percentages of graduates who go on to college and where they go. You might make a list of what is most important to you and then see which school matches the best. You might even try interviewing some people from both schools if you're really stumped.
