I'm looking into purchasing a personal road bike trainer and would like to know how to pick one one out, within a $500 range of spending money?

  1. ride a bike around instead of spending your money.

  2. Blackburn Trakstand

they go for like around $300, super easy and effective. great trainers! :)

  3. you only need a trainer if your pro, but assuming that you are not just stop at your local library and read on the best way to sit, best training tips, etc. Trust me it will do you just fine. Use a coach later when pro so that you will have someone to be able to push you what a normal person couldn't even imagine.
