What should I major in college to be a psychiatrist? Pre-med vs Clinical Psychology?

Psychiatist = pre med. You have to do a medical degree, become a doctor, then specalise in psychology. Psychiatry is the medical treatment of disorders and you need to be a doctor to prescribe drugs.

If you just mean a practising psychologist (therapist, clinical psychologist, etc) you want Clinical Psychology. You will not be able to prescribe drugs, but will do more actual therapy work

but do what youlike better, cuz you'll end up getting a higher gpa that way
