What should I major in to become a vet?

I was wondering what exactly I need to major in to become a vet or to get into vet school....Also I was wondering if anyone knew how good the Vet school at University of Illinois is....Any help would be great..

How about veterinary medicine or veterinary science?  I think it depends on which school you attend.

You can major in any kind of science, really.  From Chemistry to Biology or whatever.  Some schools even have a pre-vet program, or may be able to design one for you.
