  1. You should major in whatever you need to in order to get into dental school.  Usually this is biology.  Then after you are done 3 years of biology, and 4 years of dental school, you can apply to try to get into a pediatric program for another few years


  2. you should do your DDS., or BDS., MS or MDS., pedodontia.

  3. You can major in anything as long as you complete pre-requisite courses required by dental schools.  Most people major in biology or biochemistry simply because these already include the pre- requisites.

    Pre-requisites include:

    1 year of general biology with lab

    1 year of general chemistry with lab

    1 year of organic chemistry with lab

    1 year of physics with lab

    calculus I

    writing/english

    Other classes might include higher calculus, biochemistry, statistics, psychology, but these will vary from school to school.
