What should I name my puppy? ?

Hi!! For Christmas (well, very early lol I'm getting it next weekend) I'm getting a Chihuahua puppy. I'm not sure of the color yet, but it will be a short haired, female. I want a name that is UNIQUE, but not WEIRD..

I thought about something like "calypso" (cali - for short) or Zula I'm not sure, and I'm open to ANY suggestions. :-) Oh, and I know that some people say that "a dog will name itself after a while by the things that it does and stuff", but I dont want to go weeks with the poor lil girl not having a name! lol Thanks in advance!!

How about Frida, for Frida Kahlo?  Ethnically appropriate, easy to nickname as well. Frida, Free, Fri-Fri, and even Fri-Kah, -- Frida and Kahlo combined.

Also, in keeping with the Mexico theme, you could use a unique sounding name that's an actual State in Mexico. Some of those names are beautiful (list of state names and map shown below) ... like Quintana Roo.   "Here, Q Roo!  Sit, Q Roo!"   Or "Vera" -- short for Veracruz.  Silly, I know.
