Question:

What should I pack for Europe if I'm going there for 3 weeks?

This is my first time going to Europe and I don't know what or how many pieces of clothing to pack for 20 days.

How many shirts, boxers, sweaters, jeans, shoes, etc should I bring where it would not be a hassle to go to the laundromat every couple of days?

Thanks in advance.

  1. You really have to explain further. If you're going on a business/school/family trip you're going to pack a lot differently than if you're backpacking.

If you're going on a business/school/family trip and you're going to an area that's warm and possibly colder at night I would pack this:

    2 pairs of jeans

    3-4 pairs of shorts

    10 pairs of underwear

    5 t-shirts

    3 nice shirts

    a sweater/sweatshirt/jacket

2 pairs of shoes and sandals

This should last you half the trip and you'd only have to go to the laundromat once.

If you're back packing, take half as much of everything and just smell a bit, and you'd still have to go to the Laundromat once. :)

  2. ur mp4 player,ur sunglasses,ur sunscrren and cosmetic,perfume,camera,cash,cellphon and its charger,notebook,id card,some medicine,toothbrush,..

  3. You don't say where or why. I was fishing near Tromsø in Norway the first week in July, and had a survival suit as well as pretty warm boots. I was in Corfu a couple of weeks ago, and spent most of the time in t-shirt, shorts and sandals. The British Isles have had a very wet and cool summer(16-20C), but the Mediterranean region has been quite hot (up to 40C).

  4. It really depends where in Europe your going, some places have nice weather and some dont.

If your traveling around Europe I suggest you bring a mixture of shorts and sweaters and jeans and t-shirts. Just be prepared for any weather because you really dont know what to expect.

Maybe look up the weather forecast for the country/countires you are going to and then you can prepare yourself better.

    Have fun!

  5. Pack to dress in layers.  Depends on whether you are going to the continent or to UK.  Pack light, remember, in most countries do have laundromats.  I would pack for 10 days, and look for laundromats.  You also have to remember, if you only take carry on luggage, you don't have to worry about it missing a plane change, or security going through it without you being there.  Also remember to take travel size toiletries, otherwise security will toss them for you.  And put them all in a clear plastic bag.

  6. Pack lightly. Take an outfit for every occasion because you don't want to be carrying heavy luggage through out the trip especially if you decide to go shopping over there.

  7. I would bring enough for 15 days and then you can do laundry once in the middle of your trip. That should be doable -- so 15 pairs of boxers. 10 tshirts, 5 dress shirts, 4 sweaters, a lightweight jacket, one pair of walking shoes, flip flips and maybe a nice pair of shoes. Remember to take convertors/adapters for any electronics you might be bringing like a camera charger, ipod charger, razor charger etc. Have fun!

  8. lots of money  (for gas) and 21 pairs of everything (in case you cant wash your clothes)
