  1. You can find a checklist here:

    http://travelapproved.nl/content.php?idm...

This is a checklist for a warm country, since it's summer in the UK now.

    Have a nice trip!

  2. - Jeans, shorts, and a couple of pairs of long pants (in case you go to a nice restaurant or to the theater)

    - T-shirts, polo shirts, other short-sleeved tops

    - Jacket of some sort (nothing too heavy - it's not likely you'll need it)

    - Raincoat/umbrella

    - Comfy walking shoes (please, no white tennis shoes)

    - Nicer shoes (again, for nice restaurants and such)

    - Under garments

    - Toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, comb, body and face wash, any medications you need (if they're not over-the-counter, bring a copy of the prescriptions with you), etc.

    - Laundry detergent: you can do laundry in the sink/bathtub as needed, or ask the concierge if there's a launderette (laundromat) nearby

    - Wrinkle releaser: roll your clothes to pack them, and use this stuff to make them look decent again once you get to London: http://www.downy.com/en_US/products/wrin...

    - Voltage converter: available at Walmart, Target, places like that

    - Be sure not to overpack your suitcase if you plan on bringing souvenirs back - you won't have any place to put them.
