  1. Hi

    1. The heat could be sweltering. So, just light, loose-fitting clothes (t-shirts, shorts, bermudas, culottes) will do if you don't intend to dine in the few (rare) restaurants that have 'smart casual' dress code.

    2. Take an umbrella for those occasional showers.

    3. So, it's possible to make do with just a hand-carry luggage, assuming you are not staying here for months.

  2. just think of wat u need in summer! Be prepared for some rain though.

  3. Just pack all your light  cute summer clothes and shoes. And sleep clothes..nothing heavy.

  4. Yes, it's possible but you must be prepared to do some daily washing or buy locally. Obviously, it also depends on how long you are staying. Take some light, summery clothes, but not too many. On a sunny day, your clothes will dry very quickly and be ready for wearing in the night or the next day. You can buy good detergent from any local shop or supermarket. But avoid the shops on Orchard Road unless you are very good at haggling. There are good bargains to be had in smaller shops located near the HDB flats that dot the island.
