I am currently 16 years old and I have decided that I may move over to England to start my life when I'm 18. Although, I am a bit worried about what to do to plan for it all, so as to make sure I can get by when i'm there.

Is there anything I can know about jobs, education, etc over there that should be helpful?

  1. it depends on where you are coming from, that will be a big factor in how easily you will get into the country and get accepted for work here.

If you are from the European Union, then there will be no problems, you don't need any Visa's or permits, and you will just have to struggle to find work like the rest of the British do.

if your from Outside of the EU, you will have to enter into a points system for highly skilled immigrants where you will have to prove that you have qualifications and skills that we are in need of in the UK before finding an employer who has then got to prove that nobody else within the EU can do that job and that's why he is having to hire a non EU citizen.

if your from outside of the EU but from within the British Commonwealth, it will make things slightly easier , but still, it will be a tough process to get permission to work here.
