What should I put in a grab-n-go bag?

I am in southwest Florida and there have been tornado watches and warnings. I have a seven month old baby and I just want to know what to pack in case we have to leave. I would rather be safe than sorry. I figure that diapers and water and formula and food and stuff but, how much? What about a bag for my self? my cat? my dog? my dad? my handicapped grandma? I have a huge fear of these things Fay is really close so...

  1. lets see...

    -food

    -diapers/baby supplies

    -bottled water

    -dog and cat food

    -clothes (w/ raincoat!!)

    -personal items i.e. a bible, precious jewelry, deed paperwork, etc.

    -anything else you think you might need!  


  2. Pack for two days and have the bag ready to go.  If any of you have prescriptions bring as much as you can.

  3. if you live on a hill THEN you would need to leave. but besides that just get in your basement or somewhere away from windows.
