What should I put in my coffee shop?

I've decided to make a coffee shop.

What should be in it?

in the way of food, drinks and snacks:

perhaps try to appeal to all kinds of people by offering skimmed milk and/or soy milk in coffees as well as normal. then you are providing for more people.

tea is also good for those who don't fancy coffee- perhaps offer herbal teas too?

a good range of juice and smoothes will go down well especially in summer because they taste great and are healthy (and everybody seems quie health conscious these days).

fresh baked cookies, muffins, pastries, cakes etc  will be popular to accompany coffee.  also a healthier option like granola bars or something.

if you are wanting to serve food then sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, soup ... all good.    there's also a certain appeal to things being homemade .

the atmosphere of the shop itself is really important too, comfy seats and a clean comfortable friendly environment will attract customers.

You should also sell coffee mugs, travel mugs, bags of coffee (1 and 2 lb bags)

if you got really fancy you could also sell iced coffee toddys, french presses, etc.

after coffee mints ,chocolate covered espresso beans, there's a ton of stuff out there!

First off, congrats on your new coffee shop!! Good luck with it!

I would recommend:

      Frappachinos (I have no idea how to spell some of this stuff he he)

Cappiceno (french vinilla, etc)

Smoothies

Coffee (maybe some flavored coffee as well?)

     Maybe you should get some pastries??

Cookies

Bagels

Here are some flavors I recommend for capps, frapps, and smoothies

French Vinilla (capp. and I think frapp.)

Wild Berry (smoothie)

Strawberry (smoothie)

Banana! (YUM! Smoothie!)

Mixes- Strawberry and Bannana, or they can costomize with it. LIke Wild Berry and Stawberry

I also recommend since its summer you should have some lemonade brewing. Cause lots of people like lemonade in the summer. So I would keep some of that. Some lemons too, to put on the side of course. Some sugar and lemons... and I am making myself thirsty!!

     Also, I have some pastry flavors

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cinnamon Toast (yum!!!)

Cherry Choco Chunk Cookies (So good. You put cherries in with choco chip cookies and then when they are done baking you put a chocolate drizzle on it... So good when they are fresh!!!)

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

White Chocolate Chunk with Pecans (Also, just white chocolate chunk. Trust me, they are so delicious!)

And totally some biscotties! YUMMY!!

I wish you the best of luck, I too have a small coffee shop, and its lots of fun! But it can be totally boring, you can get so fed up with costumers, but you eventually lose the urge to just punch them in the face. Trust me, you'll have plenty of costumers you feel like punching, but just ignore them and take their order. They'll go away he he he.

Forgot a few things!!!! And maybe you should sell some coffee mugs, and some bags of coffee that you use. Thats what makes them happy, they can have some coffee at their own home for a smaller price than what they would get at the store.

And by the way, maybe if you haven't thought of designing it, you should put a huge couch and a coffee table. With a cute little fire place! Some magazines, some stuff like that! GOOD LUCK WITH IT!
