What should I put into a victorian cake?

I want to do a victorian/vintage wedding cake. It should be simple because I am putting real flowers on it. I need to know what would be a victorian flavor and filling. I want to be creative but simple. please help me. I want it to look amazing!

  1. I would do a lemon cake with a white chocolate gnache!


  2. light butter cream icing and maybe a liquer filling

  3. Vanilla cream.

    OR

    Light carrot.

  4. a raspberry filling would be yummy with a butter cream frosting.

  5. butter cream with off white frosting coloring. piping with a lacey look.
