I enrolled at my college in 1998. I changed my major 3 times before graduating in college in 2007.

Should I put the time I started at the college in 1998.

OR

Should I put the time I put in to earn my major. That would be from 2005 to 2007?

I don't want to say I was in college for 9 years. I am not a doctor.

Here are my choices.

September 1998 to May 2007

AND

September 2005 to 2007

  1. Um, list the separate dates.  It will be a separate section on your resume from your employment history.  But you have to show that you did finish.  You can't just list the last 2 years, since that isn't what earned your degree.  It was the combined time that earned you a degree.

  2. If you think it would help you can put

sept 1998 - ------ their you can put till you did stopped first choice

under you put accumulated earned credit under the choice

again START DATE -  END DATE 2nd choice

under same but for the 2nd choice

    Sept 2005 - 2007

the degree name in what here

THAT WAY YOU LOOK AS IF YOU HAVE LOTS OF EDUCATION AND MAKES YOU MORE MARKETABLE.... AND YOU CAN GET NOTICED FOR ALL THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE ACCUMULATED   JUST A SUGGESTION not shooting lol....

  3. i'm at my third college and on my 3rd major. when space is limited i list the college i'm about to graduate from and the year i will get out. sometimes i list the first college i went to along with the last one. i don't really list the middle one unless its a government application or something like that where they need to know ALL of my background. if i were you, i'd list the last two years, since that's what really counts.
